High end management and high tech talents from other countries can apply for 2–5-year multi-entry visa in Guangdong, according to a governmental decision named "Opinions on Further Promoting Foreign Capital Utilization".

The move shows Guangdong's determination to provide investors an internationalized business and living environment by introducing international education, medical and health, culture and sports facilities as well as multi-language service.

By presenting pertinent documents such as valid passports or replacement certificates, recently-taken two inch half-length, bareheaded and full-faced photos, and examination papers supporting the application for entry into or transit through China, foreigners who work in the headquarters or key foreign-funded enterprises in Guangzhou can apply for one year multi-entry visa; high end management and high tech talents from other countries can apply for 2–5-year multi-entry visa while legal representatives, general managers, deputy general managers and financial directors of foreign funded enterprises can apply for 2-5 year residence permit in Guangdong.
